Actor Pat Paulsen is best remembered for his appearances on the television shows The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour, The Monkees, The Wild Wild west, and Get Smart, as well as for his satirical series Pat Paulsen for President. He died of complications of brain and colon cancer on April 24, 1997 at the age of 69. He was survived by his wife, Noma Littell Henriques, and three children from a previous marriage.
